Well, I found this site and thought I would join.  I guess my first entry will be to introduce myself to anyone reading this.

I am an Extra Class (all 4 elements passed) operator from the Sacramento area of California.  Married for 20 years this September to my bride Kim and blessed with two beautiful children, Joshua (9) and Jordan (5).

Been a Ham for 4 years now, and am somewhat addicted to the hobby.  I am currently serving as President of the River City Amateur Radio Communications Society (N6NA) and have enjoyed my tenure.  I enjoy light contesting, PSK, protable operations, and spending time searching for DX.

To pay the bills, I am a Territory Manager for an EPS moulder based out of Edmonton, Alberta.  I cover Northern California and Northern Nevada.  I get to travel to VE6 land several times a year!

Equipment consists of:  Kenwood TS-830s and Yeasu FT-857d (mobile/portable) for HF rigs,  VHF/UHF rigs are Kenwood TM-3530 for 220 mhz, Yeasu FT-7800 for 2m/440 and several HT's of various make.  Yaesu FL-2100b when I need it with the 830s.  Antennas are Cushcraft A4S and Cobra Ultralite Jr. for HF fixed, and currently ATAS-120A  for mobile HF (in process of replacing with High Sierra Sidekick).
